Press Release
/It took a lot of e-mails and lists of artists circulating between Frankfurt/Main and Berlin, but now everything is fixed: on April 25, 2013 the temporary exhibition "Gegenwart" opens in Frankfurt, which with over 30 artists gives an insight into contemporary art in Berlin and Frankfurt.
The two curators Milorad Prentovic and Gilla Loercher have selected exciting artist positions and a total of more than 50 artworks. Painting, objects, installations and drawings are included, the works of art will spread out wonderfully in the house at Berger Straße 6 (where the famous Cafe Gegenwart once resided) and enter into a dialogue with each other.
With the following artists: Isabel Albrecht, Henry Anno, Jörg Arndt, Fides Becker, Ulrich Becker, Viola Bittl, Ivan Liovik Ebel, Thomas Erdelmeier, Andreas Exner, Lena Grewenig, Robert Gschwantner, Jari Haanperä, Thomas Hartmann, Susanne Jung, Michel Klöfkorn, Dirk Krecker, Jens Lehmann, Corinna Mayer, Iris Musolf, Lionel Röhrscheid, Andreas Rohrbach, Monika Romstein, Francisco Rozas, Manuel Salvat, Edwin Schäfer, Bettina Sellmann, Barbara Sturm, Caro Suerkemper, Dana Widawski and Ekrem Yalcindag.
