Gallery Gilla Lörcher | Contemporary Art is very pleased to present the QUASAR exhibition by the two young Berlin artists Views and Muroe. A selection of concrete-abstract paper and canvas works will be shown in the framework of an installative approach.

Muroe alias MURO (born 1977 in Berlin) has been active with textmarker and spray since 1988. Hence he is regarded in the scene as a writer of the old school. MURO is one of the most innovative writers in Berlin. In the mid-nineties he was working under the the names ROCKET, KITT, COLE and SPANK. He was/is a member of many Berlin writer groups including the PCP, CK (Crimekings), 36Boys, NHS, TCF and the UTS Crew. He exhibited a.o. at: Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Rathaus Schöneberg, Tacheles and arthouse rising.

Views (born 1999 in Berlin) started with graffiti techniques in 2014 and was fascinated by abstract art. He is part of the Berlin writer group UTS Crew and the Painted Love Group. It is the first time that Views presents his work in the context of an exhibition.

Galerie Gilla Lörcher | Contemporary Art was founded by philosopher and former art critic Gilla Loercher in January 2009. The gallery represents emerging and established international artists. The gallery program focuses on conceptual, research-based and/or space-based approaches in a variety of media including installation, sculpture, painting, drawing, video and photography.
