Press Release
/Since 2013 Francisco Rozas is concentrating on the construction of big, fragile, geometric objects, that oscillate between flatness and three-dimensionality. They embody exemplary visualisations of mathematical dependencies. Only on second sight the observer may realize, that the objects are made of light materials, such as card paper or paper.
SUPPORT is the artist´s third solo show at Galerie Gilla Lörcher. With his installation "In Planning" (2014), Francisco Rozas investigated the process of designing and the gallery space as a permanent site of construction. His solo show „Pretending“ (Gallery Weekend 2016) comprised a large amount of 2 meter tall objects arranged all over the gallery like models on a catwalk.
