/Using the archetypal symbolism of the vesica piscis as a mythological framework the artist explores the relationship between the Me and the Other through a series of multidimensional works that attempt to transcend this dichotomy through the use of repetition, ritual and a poetic principle.

Vanessa Enríquez (b. 1973, Mexico City, Mexico) currently lives and works in Berlin. She graduated in 2000 from a Master in Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Yale University (USA). Her recent work, which has grown to encompass video, performance and installation, has been exhibited in curated group exhibitions in Berlin, New York, Mexico City, Hong Kong and the UK. In 2022 she showed her wok at the XIX Biennale Tamayo, Museum Tamayo, Mexico .
